There is nothing more powerful or transformative than the Word of God. This is something that our church and this ministry firmly believes. However, we must be willing to not only know a few of our favorite Bible verses by heart - we need to have it transform us and guide us through life. One of the instructions it gives us is to tell others about what God has done through His Son, Jesus Christ. Sometimes, we may find that we just cannot find the "right words" to tell someone about Christ. This could be a neighbor, a co-worker, or even a close family member. This is where the heart of this ministry comes into play: Giving the gift of God's Word that is personalized to that someone. They are loved by God and He knows their name.

Hand deliver the Bible to your recipient.

Be Ready to Talk About the Gospel

Share with the recipient your favorite passages and favorite books of the Bible. Share how it has changed your life!

Invite Them to Church!

Be sure to invite your recipient to go to church with you! Your invitation might be the only one they receive - Ask them!

Ask Them Who Else Needs a Bible

Encourage the recipient to tell you of someone they think would like a Bible. The cycle then starts over!

Can I have my own Bible imprinted with my name?

Of course! The equipment we use imprints the individual's name on the cover by the use of a heat press and gold foil. As such, most leather or imitation leather Bibles should be able to be customized. We will let you know if not.

Do I have to attend Northside to use the service?

No. Our vision is that God's Word is for everyone. If you do not have a home church, we would love to have you!

Are there more customizations available other than just names?

We are open to creativity, but the equipment does have a character limit and Bible covers can only hold a finite amount of letters on them due to the size of the font we use. We can try to make additional customizations if possible.

Do I have to pay for the service?

Our goal is not to have an individual purchase a Bible in order to have access to it, but rather it be a gift from someone they care about. We ask that if you are a Christian and want to request a customization for yourself or a personalized Bible for someone else, that you please give $10 towards the Bible Ministry for the service. These funds help us purchase the materials and the Bibles for this ministry and help us get as many Bibles as we can into the hands of those who need it.
